Innike Rajput

Besides an illustrious 13 year career in brand management and marketing, Innike has Bachelor of Consumer Science Food Management (Honours level), a Masters in Consumer Science Food Management and she is currently reading a PhD in Nutrition.

 

Innike started her career as a media researcher and then became a project manager in sensory and consumer research for Pretoria University. She then joined Procter and Gamble South Africa as acting brand manager and then brand manager for Pampers and the Hair Care category. After a brief few months at Cadbury-Schweppes/Bromor Foods as Brand Manager Beverage Portfolio (Hall’s, Cedar), the division was purchased by Tiger Brands and she returned to P&G where she continued to gain significant brand management experience during her 7 years with the company.

She decided to enter a consulting career where she consults to Danone Southern Africa, Eve Graham Marketing Services and Goody Sub Sahara.

Innike has won many awards including P&G departmental award for best collaborator.

 


For Danone she launched a line extension to the Nutriday range that gained significant share within a short period of time and over delivered on sales target the first 3 months post-launch. At Eve Graham Marketing Services Innike compiled (writing and designing) 6 Pregnancy and Baby Care manuals to utilize in their current distribution network, she also proposed a maternity UIF solution project to the Dept. of Labour.

At Goody Sub Sahara she lead and is still involved in the market entry and portfolio plan to establish the Goody brand in South Africa which included preparing local market assessments and proposing a 3 year product portfolio taking into account Goody international portfolio as well as local segment opportunities.

Innike has won many awards including P&G departmental award for best collaborator (2005);Gold ‘Power of You” award for preparing the best regional launch plan and presenting the best launch sales conference of the year for a new product launch (2009); University of Pretoria (2002) Nestle award for recipe development; Dry Bean Producers award for product development and departmental award for best student in consumer orientated subjects for the duration of the course.
