Jocelyn Baker

Jocelyn has 15 years’ experience in Marketing and Brand Management - she brings with her a wealth of expertise in strategy development and implementation of marketing growth plans for consumer brands in South Africa.

 

Jocelyn has a AAA Diploma in Advertising and a BCom Marketing and Business Management. She started her career with Visa International, London, UK in Retail Marketing, thereafter she joined Edgars Group in Sales House Marketing, Jet Marketing and then as brand manager for Jet.

She was seconded to Tiger Brands, Adcock Ingram as a Personal Care Category Marketing Manager where she received a wealth of Marketing Management experience. She was responsible for relaunching Mousson Hand and Body Lotions and Foam bath, launching Mousson Shimmer lotion, Mousson Body Wash and the Eulactol range.

Jocelyn has a AAA Diploma in Advertising and a BCom Marketing and Business Management.

 


She was also Category Marketing Manager for Complementary Healthcare at Tiger Brands in the Adcock Ingram division, where she managed brands in the following portfolios: enhancement, coughs and colds, slimming and vitamin/minerals.

Thereafter Jocelyn spent three years in Marketing Consulting on various projects for Tiger Brands: all categories i.e. Groceries, Consumer Health (Personal & Home Care), Grains, Beverages, Snacks & Treats; Adcock Ingram: OTC Healthcare and Home Care categories; Indeed Consulting and Antartica Consulting.

Jocelyn then joined GlaxoSmithKline as Marketing Manager, Oral Healthcare where she spent 3 years developing and implementing strategic marketing plans for Aquafresh, Sensodyne, Macleans, Jordan, Super Corega and Corsodyl.

Jocelyn is now a Strategic Marketing Consultant.
